Day 1: Guwahati airport-Shillong (Travel approx. 120 KM, Road time approx. 3 Hrs)

​

• Received from Guwahati Airport. 

• Arrive in Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya.

• Short stop at Umiam lake view point for picturesque view.

• Wards Lake: A serene lake with boating facilities.

• Evening stroll around Police Bazar, a popular shopping and dining area.

 

Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 2: Shillong - Dawki/Mawlynnong (Travel approx.  150 KM, Road time approx. 4.5 Hrs)

​

• After breakfast, drive to Laitlum Canyons: Spectacular viewpoints offering panoramic views.

• En route, you can visit:

• Dawki: Known for its crystal-clear Umngot River, where you can enjoy boating  (weather dependent for the month of september & october).

• Reach Mawlynnong known as the "Cleanest Village in Asia." and explore the village:

• Living Root Bridge: Mawlynnong has a living root bridge of its own.

• Sky View Point ( tree house): Offers stunning views of the village and surrounding landscapes.

Day 3: Shnongpdeng/ Mawlynnong- Sohra (Travel approx. 140 KM, Road time approx. 5 Hrs)

• After breakfast, depart for Sohra (Cherrapunji).

• En route, visit: Mawkdok Dympep Valley Viewpoint: Another breathtaking viewpoint.

• Visit Garden of Cave with several spots inside the Garden - Ka SynrangSyiem (the king's cave).

• If time available can visit extra spot.

Day 4: Sohra ( Cherapunjee) exploration (Travel approx. 60 KM,  Road time approx. 3 Hrs)

• Begin your day with an early morning visit to:

• Spend the day exploring more of Sohra's (Cherrapunji) attractions:

• Visit Arwa cave famous for their limestone formations.

• Visit the Nohkalikai Waterfall, one of the tallest waterfalls in India.

• Seven Sisters Falls: A mesmerizing waterfall & other visit additional attractions.

Overnight stay in Sohra (Cherrapunji).

Day 5: Sohra - Guwahati airport (Travel approx. 170 KM,Road time approx. 5.5 Hrs)

• After breakfast, check out from your Sohra (Cherapunjee) hotel.

• Depending on your departure time, you might be able to visit a few more places or do some last-minute shopping.

• Depart for your onward journey.

• Any meals/services not mentioned in the inclusions.

• Entry Fees for interest points & any additional activity costs (zip lining, boating, etc).

• Personal expenses like tips, telephone calls, laundry, etc.

• Any costs arising out of unforeseen circumstances like landslides, road blocks, bad weather, etc.

• Personal purchases on the tour.

• Anything not mentioned in the inclusions.

Booking and Cancellation policy

​

• 20% of advance booking amount to be transferred at the earliest i.e is prior to one month before check in dates, falling which your booking will be considered as cancelled. 

• 100% complete booking amount to be transferred prior starting of the tour, falling which your bookings will be considered as cancelled.

• Any last minute cancellation will be charged 100% cancellation fees.

• All payments should be addressed and payable to “BAGPACKBUDDY”.

• BAGPACKBUDDY shall not be responsible or liable for any delay or failure to deliver which is not attributable to the Seller or within its reasonable control.

• All and any cancellation charges are to be borne by the customer, including service charge.

• Service charge will be retained in case the booking gets cancelled on medical grounds or in any unavoidable circumstances.
